This 3-day experience in the Champagne region offers a unique tasting experience with visits to the best cellars, meeting real winemakers, and tasting rare bottles and old vintages. Become a Champagne expert with this tour. Your guide will pick you up in Reims or Epernay and drive you safely throughout the 3 days.
On Day 1, the tour will lead you to the big houses of Champagne. It begins with a private tour of Pommery champagne houses in Reims with a double tasting, Then a stop at Veuve Clicquot boutique before a 3-course French lunch with champagne is served in a traditional restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues to Epernay, the capital of Champagne, where you will visit two more great houses, Mercier and Moet & Chandon, with a double tasting and shopping at each.
On Day 2, the tour takes you on a tour of the world of small producers. First you will meet a first real winemaker and taste three of his champagnes: Brut, Rosé, Blanc de blancs, or Vintage. A special champagne lunch is served in a traditional French restaurant, accompanied by a champagne aperitif. After a drive through the vineyards and landscapes of Unesco listed Champagne, you will visit a second small Champagne producer with a large tasting session. The tour also takes you to magical places like a lighthouse, windmill, and unique forest.
Day 3 is even more exciting, with special tastings of the rarest Champagnes, "extra-dry and "zero" to compare with Champagne brut. Taste also Champagnes with still wines from french oak barrels. You will meet handcraft winemakers who will share their passion with you and make you taste their best bottles of Champagne : the single-plot champagnes which are from the few best plots of Champagne.
You'll be taken back to your place with souvenirs and champagne bottles.

1st day : Big wineries tour
Pick up where you are staying in Reims or in Epernay and drive you safely all the day.
In the morning, 2 big houses in Reims : Pommery and Veuve Clicquot.
Enjoy a private cellar tour with a double tasting at Pommery. Have a stop at Veuve Clicquot to enjoy the history of the brand and the boutique.
Lunch with 3 courses and Champagne !
In the afternoon, 2 other big houses in Epernay.
First visit the cellars of Moet & Chandon. Enjoy a double tasting.
To finish visit the cellars of Mercier, then taste 2 champagnes and stop at the boutique !

2nd day : Meet small winemakers
Private visit to the cellars of a small champagne producer.

Stephane and his connections are the only way to live the Champagne and really go deep in this unique world.
With my wife we went from surprise to surprise during this tour. Discovering the balance between the big brands we perfectly known before and the small producers we were so glad to meet. But most of all, the third day was amazing ! I've nerver drink Champagnes as the ones Stephane and his friends sahred with us. I'm a wine club member and attended to tasting lessons but I've never had such Champagnes to taste and have never expecting such taste in Champagne. Even the vintage Champagnes I had was young ones compared to what I discovered with Stephane. The hidden bottles at the back of the winemakers cellars are always the best !

" An intimate, fraught view of the life and times in the champagne industry! We had a great time touring and tasting with our guide and his friends during these 3 busy days. Being wine growers ourselves we are always skeptical of wine tours but this was very special and we were able to really connect with our guide and his friends and have our more in depth questions answered. The wines that we tasted were very special and unlike what you would be having at other houses, we tasted Champagnes very few people know even my colleagues in the wine industry didn't know ! Our guide also gave us some recommendations for shops, bars, restaurants, and other things to do in Reims for our evening times. I would highly recommend this tour!
